Sunbeam - Sunbeam 3 litre
The Sunbeam 3 litre Super Sports was a super advanced car for 1925, having a straight 6 twin overhead cam monoblock engine, with another modern feature of the gearbox bolted directly to the engine. This model was the work of ex Fiat men Bertarione and Beccia who had been lured away from Fiat, which eventually resulted in Fiat closing their race department, as they became tired of other manufacturers "stealing" their designers away!
