This Blockley 185/70 VR 13 is a exceptional quality steel belted Radial tyre, with an excellent speed rating and period correct tread pattern, designed in house. A V rated (149mph) tyre available direct from us (Blockley) for an unbelievable £99 plus tax! This is because we only sell direct to the end user and workshops, and not via the "Classic" tyre wholesalers, so there are no additional costs incurred on the way. Scrub these in for a little (ie drive normally for say 30 miles), do 1,000 or so miles on them, and if they are not the best tyres you've ever driven on we will give a refund. These Blockley 185/70VR13 tyres are E Marked and DOT marked (for use in the USA).
This 185/70R13 tyre size is a wider version of a 165R13 size (a size also produced by Blockley), so our 185/70VR13 tyre is sometimes used by customers wanting a wider tyre with the same diameter as a "80 profile" 165R13.
Every one of these tyres is inspected and checked for dynamic balance - The small painted yellow circle on the side wall can be aligned with the valve stem by the tyre fitter so they know the optimum place to put it. We perform this additional inspection process as we are determined to supply the best possible no-compromise product.
