Jaguar - Jaguar D Type
The D Type Jaguar was built from 1954 with the aim of winning LeMans, which is the reason for it's engine being so far forward. For 1957 the engines could be 3.8 litre, prior to the 3 litre sportscar limit for 1958 after which the D Type was unable to remain competitive.
The Jaguar D Type tyre was 600x16 on the front and 650x16 on the rear. Many people fit our L section 60o and 650x16's on the D Type, as you can see in the gallery picture below. See full details of these tyres below.
Note that many of the replica type D Types are fitted with smaller 15" wheels, and we can also supply high quality radial ply tyres for these also in sizes 185VR15 and 205/70WR15.
