Rolls Royce - Rolls Royce 20/25

The Rolls Royce 20/25 was the model that took over from the earlier 20 HP model, using an enlarged version of the 6 cylinder engine with a little more compression, raised from 4.8 to 5.7. The chassis length remained the same. This smaller Rolls Royce produced from 1929 to 1932 was a great help to Rolls Royce, keeping things going after the Wall Street crash, as the only other model produced at the time was the Phantom 2, whereas the 20/25 was aimed at a different owner. Bentley Motors had succumbed to the depression for various reasons, taken over by Rolls Royce, and the Rolls Royce 20/25 was the basis for the new smaller "Derby" Bentley.

Rolls Royce 20/25 tyre size was 600x19 original fitment, for which Blockley make the tyre.  Many 20/25 cars have since been fitted with larger 650x19 tyres, which Blockley also produces.
