The 155R13 tyre was the radial replacement for the cross ply size 5.60x13, which was a tyre used on so many smaller capacity cars. For those requiring a wider version of this 155R13 size, note that we also make the 175/70VR13 (same diameter but with wider tread and overall width).

The 155R13 was the original tyre size fitment for a large number of cars, many of which today fit a larger tyre (such as 165R13) due to the hideous price of the only available Michelin 155R13 which each cost some £240 including tax! Blockley hopes to rectify this situation with our superb quality 155R13 tyre that has an authentic tread, which we are able to sell at a reasonable price, and this is possible because we sell direct to the end user / garages and restoration shops without going through the Classic tyre wholesalers. These Blockley 155HR13 really are the best tyres you can buy, which is why we say scrub them in for 30 miles as you should any tyre, and drive 1,000 or so miles, and if they are not the best tyres you've ever driven on we will refund.

Remember also that many of the cars using 155R13 size would originally have had a 5.60x13 tyre which was nominally 600mm diameter in period, so having our Blockley manufactured on the top tolerance allowable for a 155R13 radial tyre size makes the gearing as close as possible to the original - whereas the other brands of 155R13 tyres available elsewhere have skimped on this with alot smaller diameters.
