A superb quality butyl 28x3 inner tube, with robust wall thickness, which has the correct dimensions to fit in the Blockley 28x3 tyre size.

This 28x3 inner tube is fitted with a TR6 valve stem, suitable for wire wheels. The TR6 is a metal valve stem that has a diameter of 8 mm. Blockley has made a tube to fit the 28x3 tyre size correctly, to compliment the 28x3 tyres that we produce. This is a higher specification 28x3 butyl inner tube which is made with a decent 3mm (1/8") wall thickness, and unlike anything else available. Prior to getting these high quality 28x3 inner tubes, we looked at various brands of tubes available but unfortunately the quality of these inner tubes sold by the Classic tyre wholesalers is pathetic, and really ought to be avoided. Please note that the Michelin 21MDR or a 710x90 tube size as recommended by these Classic tyre wholesalers are dimensionally wholly unsuitable - Blockley also makes these dimensioned tubes, but these are wholly unsuitable for a 28x3 tyre size, Hence we have produced this perfect quality 28x3 inner tube, made for a 28x3 tyre size, made as it would have been in period, but manufactured using better material that was unavailable in the day.
