Bristol - Bristol Blenheim

The Bristol Blenheim was introduced in 1994 and the original cars were available to 1997 after which it was the Bristol Blenheim 2 cars which ran until 1999. The Blenheim 3 and Blenheim 4 models ran from years 2000 to 2011.

This was a development o on the Britannia and Brigand with a subtly changed look and altered front arrangement with chrome limited to the front and rear window surrounds. there was now a engine management system. The Series 2 Blenheim no longer had the sloping streamlined looking back which increased the already large boot, while the boot opening came down to bumper level for ease of filling. The Bristol Blenheim 3 came in an S or a G variant, teh G variant having extra LPG tanks on each side of the boot (in addition to the normal fuel tank) which could double the range. The Blenheim 3 cars also had a wider rear track and stiffened anti roll bars.

Bristol Blenheim original tyre fitment for all models was 215/70VR15 and we would recommend the same correct size and speed rated Blockley 215/70VR15 designed specifically for these period cars . In any case, with the Bristol Blenheim 3 only there was an option to the 215/70VR15 size which was 7" alloy wheels fitted with 225/60x16 tyres which are only some 20mm smaller in diameter which is hardly anything. You will find many Classic tyre wholesalers recommend the sale of bigger, fatter and more expensive sizes which are unnecessary on the bulk of the V8 engine Bristols. The Bristol Blenheim is best on the 215/70VR15 size as it left the factory, and as this tyre size became available. You will find Classic tyre wholesalers pushing a 225/70R15 size, but the correct tyre from the factory was 215/70VR15. See full details of this tyre below:
