DAF - DAF 33
The DAF cars started being delivered in 1959. These first models were the DAF 600, and the 590cc flat twin engine was increased in capacity for 1961 by increasing the bore, making the new car the DAF 750. The name Daffodil was now used, mainly for the DAF cars that were for export, although for Germany it was called DAF30 rather than Daffodil. Later the names DAF 31 and DAF 32 were used. After the introduction of the DAF 44 model, the earlier car was reclassified as DAF 33. So to recap, the models Daffodil, DAF 30, DAF 31, DAF 32 and DAF 33 was basically the same vehicle. The DAF 33 was built from 1967, and production of this model carried on to 1974.
