Gordon-Keeble - Gordon Keeble GT

The Goron Keeble GT was based on the Gordon car which was exhibited on the Bertone stand  at Geneva in 1960, showing off the clean lines of the Giorgetto Guigiaro designed body. This car had been shipped to Chevrolet to look at, and they agreed they would supply engine and gearboxes for the production cars. The engines that the Gordon Keeble would be fitted with were the 327 cubic inch ones, as opposed to the smaller capacity "283" engine in the Gordon. The production Gordon Keeble had a glass fibre body taken off the original body built by Bertone. There were orders for some 100 cars but by 1964 cash flow was a problem and the company folded, to be started up shortly afterwards as Keeble cars under new ownership and production finished in 1966

Tyre size originally announced with the Gordon Keeble was initially 6.40x15 and later 6.70x15. With raduial tyres this would be 185VR15 size, or one could use the wider 205/70VR15 tyre size.
