Peugeot - Peugeot 304

Introduced in 1966, the Peugeot 304 was basically the Peugeot 204 with a redesigned front end fitted with the larger 1.3 litre engine that took it out of the 6CV category. When the Peugeot 304 model came out the 204 range was rationalised. The 304 model came in 4 door saloon and Estate (or Break), with 2 door convertible and coupe, and even a Fourgonette van. The most powerful model was the 1.3 litre 304S fitted with twin-choke carburettors.  A diesel engine was offered from 1979.
