A superb period authentic 125R12 tyre of exceptional quality. Blockley Tyre Co. made this 125R12 tyre for the original "classic" Fiat 500 (Cinquecento) built between 1957 and 1977. This high quality 125R12 tyre has been manufactured to compliment the whitewall version 125R12 tyre that we have produced., But we can offer this 125R12 tyre at a much lower lower price, for those not wanting a whitewall tyre. The 125R12 tyre size can also be called a 125/80R12 size. This 125R12 tyre is a modern designed radial ply tyre with steel belt construction and authentic period tread pattern, designed in house at Blockley, built on brand new moulds and tooling. The Blockley 125R12 tyre has correct period dimensions and perfect for the Fiat 500. This superior quality tyre is made by Blockley specifically for the Fiat 500 (1957 to 1977) models, covering the earlier Classic Fiat 500 (Cinquecento) tyre sizes for Fiat Nuova 500, 500D, 500F, 500L, 500R, 500 Gardiniera and so on . We produced our 125R12 tyre after being petitioned by members of the Fiat 500 Club who wanted something better than what was available, with a period correct tread pattern. 

The reasonable price of this high quality 125R12 tyre is only possible because Blockley sells it's tyres (and tubes) direct to the end user (or garages / restoration shops) which avoids the mark ups of the Classic tyre wholesalers.

This tyre can be run tubeless (i.e. tubeless type) for wheels that are tubeless type. But strictly speaking the Fiat 500 should be fitted with tubes because the wheels are tube type. We have produced a dedicated thicker Butyl inner tube because all available tubes we have found are too lightweight and pathetic, which cause failures with people that use their cars. This thicker Blockley Superior tube, made from the best material butyl is perfect for the 125R12 tyre, and also very useful for the larger 145R12 tyre size.

For interest, in period a full diameter (also called 80 profile) tyre did not have the "/80" listed in the tyre size, because all radial tyres were full size. It was only at a much later date, as lower profile tyres started to become more common, that many tyre brands started having the "/80" marked on the sidewall. So 125R12 could also be referred to as 125/80R12, which both mean the same thing. Our Blockley tyres are marked just 125R12 on the sidewall because this is the authentic numbering as it would have been originally on what is now a "Classic" car.
