Alvis - Alvis10/30,11/40 & 12/40
Alvis started in 1920 with its 10/30 model, a 4 cylinder 65x100mm side valve, followed with an option the following year with the 11/40, 68x110mm which was replaced the year after (1923) by the almost identical 12/40 that was in production to 1924. All these models were the precursor to the 12/50.
Alvis tyre size for the 10/30, 11/40 and 12/40 models was listed as 760x90, which is a beaded edge tyre, and Blockley produces the perfect example - see full details at the link below. Any of these Alvises which have had their wheel sizes changed to fit well base tyres, we will have any size they have been fitted to also . . .
