Borgward - Borgward 2300

The Borgward 2300 was built from 1959 until the company ceased in 1961. The 2300 was the big Borgward that some say cost Karl Borgward his company. A pity, as it was a good high quality car that was showing the way for Borgward to compete on level terms with Mercedes. The Borgward 2300 had a 6 cylinder engine producing 100 bhp, in a chassis that even had pneumatic suspension.

Borgward 2300 tyre size was originally 6.40x13. We would recommend radial tyre size 165R13.
