Ferrari - Ferrari 340
The first Series of Ferraris carrying the "America" name was the Ferrari 340 America, built from 1950 through 1952, with the 4.1 litre V12 Lampredi engine. This came about by Ferrari converting the two 3.3 litre 275S sports race cars they had into the new larger engined 4.1 litre Ferrari 340 examples.
Tyre size for the Ferrari 340 was originally 600x16 front and 7.50x16 rear. Blockley produces a 600x16 front tyre and our 650x16 tyre is plenty large enough for the rear. For the road cars we would recommend the radial 185VR16 tyre. Should you car have been modified with 15" wheels, contact us and we will have suitable tyres in 15" size.
