Honda - Honda Prelude

The Honda Prelude was available in Europe from 1979 as a 2 door coupe. It was a more compact and shorter lighter version of their Accord, but initially sales were slow in Europe due to the high list price. For 1983 the second generation was an all new car with the pop up headlights, and available later with a twin cam 16 valve 2 litre engine. The third generation Preludes introduced in 1987 had a low drag coefficient with a lowered bonnet line, with some new revisions for 1989 which contiuned through to 1991.

Honda Prelude tyre sizes from the factory:

- The Honda Prelude ( First and Second generation) built 1979 to 1987 were initially all fitted with 175/70R13 tyre size to 1982 and from 1983 with the slightly larger overall 185/70R13 tyre. Blockley produce both these tyre sizes.

- Honda Third generation Prelude from 1987, contiuned with the 185/70R13 and for 1992 a 14" wheel with 185/70R14 tyre size was listed, which was used on Prelude models to and including 1996.

Blockley produces all the tyre sizes mentioned above - see full details of these Honda Prelude tyres at the links below:
