Honda - Honda S800

The new Honda S800 model of 1966 was a direct replacement for the earlier S600. Available in the UK from 1967, it was built to take on the small sports car market which was dominated by cars such as the MG Midget, Sprite and Triumph Spitfire - with its jewell of an 800cc engine running up to 10,000 rpm. Just as it's predecessor, it was available as a Coupe or open roadster. A later updated version appeared in 1968, and production of the S800 continued to 1970.

Honda S800 tyre size started off as 5.20x13 which is radial tyre equivalent 145R13 size, and early on Honda themselves fitted this same radial ply 145R13 tyre size.
