Mazda - Mazda Cosmo

The Mazda Cosmo Sportwas available from 1967 as a flagship model to show off the brand, with the futuristic new rotary Wankel patent engine, an engine design which there were great hopes for. Many of these Mazda Cosmo (also called the Mazda 110S) had been built for the dealerships to have on show, but the Cosmo was withheld until NSU (who were also building a rotary engine car) were ready with their car. Production of this rare and futuristic car lasted to 1972.
