Mini - Mini Mk3

The Mini Mk3 was introduced from late 1969 with different bodywork that had the larger doors, and noticeable for not not having external hinges for the doors. The sliding side widows were now also gone, to be replaced with wind up windows. As a cost saving measure the hydrolastic suspension was replaced with rubber cones. By 1974, even the smallest of the Minis (the Mini 850) had a heater as standard equipment. The Mk3 Minis (850 , 1000 and 1275) were built until 1976.

Mini Mark 3 tyre size started as cross ply 5.20x10 but was soon on the equivalent radial 145R10 size at the factory. Blockley produces the best 145R10 tyre , as well as the wider version (but same diameter) 165/70R10 tyre size. We also produce a thicker inner tube to suit these for those that require them.
