Talbot - Talbot Samba

The Talbot Samba was available from late 1981, built by PSA (the amalgamation of Peugeot and Citroen) in their old Ford / Simca plant in France. The Talbot Samba was based on the small front wheel drive Peugeot 104 with considerable redsign, using their newly aquired Talbot brand. The 3 door hatchback models were the small 1 litre Samba LE and LS, 1.1 litre Samba GL and the 1.4 litre Samba GLS. From 1982 a Pininfarina designed Samba Cabriolet version was also available. Production of the Samba continued to 1986, after which the Talbot name was no longer used.
