Turner - Turner 803 & 950 Sports
The Turner 803 was called 803 because it was fitted with the 803cc Austin A30 engine and running gear, which surprisingly were all components that Austin refused to sell, so Turner had to source these parts from Austin dealerships. By 1956 the Turner 950 was added, having the 950cc Austin A35 engine. From 1959 the Turner 950 Sports had the Alexander tuned A35 engine with the special alloy cylinder head. Production of these cars continued to 1963.
Tyre size for the Turner 803 and all versions of the Turner 950 (950, 950 Mk2 and 950 Alexander) was 5.25x15, the radial equivalent size being the 155R15. Blockley produces a high quality 155HR15 tyre, with steel belt construction that will be perfact for these Turners. See full details at the link below. We make larger sizes of tyres in 15" also, but we suggest these Turners will be best with the 155R15 size.
