Wolseley - Wolseley 15/60
The Wolseley 15/60 was introduced in 1958 and available from 1959, using the same 4 cylinder BMC B Series engine as it's predecessor 15/50 but now with higher compression and 55 bhp. The first time the Pininfarina body style was used at BMC was on this Wolseley 15/60, before it got rolled out to the other BMC brands (Austin, Riley, MG and Morris), but the Wolseley 15/60 was the top of the range offering from BMC as far as leather interior and other finishes were concerned, and also the most powerfully tuned version.
The Wolseley 15/60 was in production until 1961.
Wolseley 15/60 tyre size was originally 5.90x14 which is equivalent to the radial tyre size 165R14. Blockley produces an excellent steel belt construction 165HR14 with good speed rating and period correct looks. See full details of this Wolseley 15/60 tyre at the link below:
