Daimler - Daimler Barker Special Sports
The Daimler Special Sports was built from 1948 on the DB18 chassis. The DB18 (and Consort) was quoted with 70 hp whereas the Special Sports 2522 cc engine, based on the Daimler Scout engine, was fitted with an alloy cylinder head and twin carburettors and quoted as producing 85hp. The Daimler Special Sports was produced until 1953.
