Morris - Morris Marina
When the Morris Minor finished its production in 1970/71, it was replaced with the Morris Marina, a conventional rear wheel drive model, in 1971. The 3 models in the range were the Marina 1.3, with the larger engined Marina 1.8 and 1.8TC , with an estate version of the Marina 1.8 produced the the following year. There were changes throughout the production, and the 1.8 litre cars got the overhead valve 1.7 litre engine from 1978 onward. Morris Marina production finished in 1980 when it was replaced by the Ital.
Morris Marina tyre size was 5.20x13 which is radial equivalent 145x13 size, for the 1.3 litre, and the 1.8 litre had the same size 145R13, but the 1.8TC had the slightly larger 155R13. Blockley produces both the 145R13 and 155R13 tyre sizes, and for those wanting a wider tyre, we also make the 175/70 size which is basically the same diameter but wider overall.
