Renault - Renault 16
The Renault 16 was made over a 15 year period, starting in 1965. The front wheel drive 4 door 1,470 cc hatchback resulted in a large spacious interior, somewhere between a saloon and estate car. This Renault came in 2 variants: the Renault 16 Grand Luxe and Renault 16 Super. A 1,565 cc engine was made in 1968 for the 16TS, which was further enlarged to 1647cc for the top of the range Renault 16TX model, introduced in 1973. Production of the Renault 16 ended in the early part of 1980.
