TVR - TVR Tuscan

The TVR Tuscan was built from 1967, with either the Ford V6 3 litre engine (as used in the Capri and Zodiac Mk4) or the Ford 4727cc V8 engine. The V8 Tuscan with the short wheelbase was in effect a TVR Griffith with minor differences such as the dashboard, while the alternative was the longer wheel base which increased the cabin area making it much better for taller people as well as the ease of getting in and out, plus it had the benefit of improving the look of the car. TVR Tuscan production went on until 1971.

Tyre size for the TVR Tuscan was originally 165R15 for the V6 engined chassis, and 185R15 for the V8 engine Tuscans, both these TVR's having 5" wheel rims. Blockley produce both these tyre sizes with high speed rated, period correct 165VR15 and 185VR15 tyres built with steel belt construction, which will improve the handling - guaranteed.
