Alpine Renault - Alpine Renault A110

The Alpine A110 cars were built from 1961, with larger engines compared to the earlier A108 based on the Dauphine. The A110 was originally the 1100cc powerplant of the Renault R8 or the Gordini tuned version of it. The iron blocked engines were replaced later on with the all alloy engine from the Renault 18 which could be tuned to extract 120bhp. Alpine was bought out by Renault by 1973, when the A110 won the first World Rally Championship. The cars came with 1100, 1300 and 1600cc capacities. The Alpine A110 production continued to 1977 with the bodywork shape hardly changing. The last model of A110 Alpine was the A110 Berlinette 1600SC.

Alpine A110 tyre size was originally 165R13 size which Blockley produces in an excellent speed rated period correct tyre. We also produce a wider 185/70VR13 for those who require this.
