Borgward - Borgward Hansa

The Borgward Hansa was the first post war model built by Borgward, exhibited at Geneva in 1949. Styled in the modern American style, and with a 1500cc 4 cylinder engine, the car sold really well. For 1952 the Hansa 2400 was added to the range, which was the first of the Luxury Borgwards, having a six cylinder 2,337 engine. It incorporated the modern feature of electrically operated windows, as standard fitment. The Hansa was in production until 1958.

- Borgward Hansa 1500cc models had tyre size 5.90 x 13 which equate to radial tyre size 165R13 which Blockley produces an excellent 165HR13.

- Borgward Hansa 2400 models were fitted with 6.40x15 tyres originally, which equate to radial tyre size 185R15, and Blockley produces this 185VR15 size also. See full details of these tyres below:
