Renault - Renault 9 & 11
The Renault 9 was listed from late 1981 as a 4 door car, while the Renault 11 came in 1983 as a three door (or 5 door hatchback), otherwise the two models were very similar. Production of the Renault 9 and 11 continued to 1989, although production continued for another ten years in Turkey.
Tyre sizes varied depending on the model, but was covered by 3 tyre sizes, namely 145R13, 155R13 and 175/70R13 (this being a wider version of a 155R13). For the Renault 9 models such as Renault C and TC fitted the 145R13, whereas the Renault TL and GTL (alongside the automatic, as well as the Diesel powered models TD and GTD) was fitted with the 155R13, while the widest 175/70R13 tyre size was fitted to the Renault GTX and TXE. With the Renault 11 these same 3 sizes were used, 145R13 for the Renault TL155R13 for the GTL and the 175/70R13 for the more powerful GTX, TXE, TXE Electronic and Turbo.
