Renault - Renault 12
The Renault 12 was first shown in 1969 for 1970 production, both as an estate version and four door saloon, using the iron 1289 cc engine to keep the production costs to a minimum in this competitive 1300cc mass car market. There was also the larger engined 1600cc Gordini version which was very different. Renault 12 production carried on to 1980, although cars were built in Turkey until 2000, and were also the basis for the Dacia1310 until 2004.
Tyre size for the Renault 12 was 145R13 for most models (L, TL, TR and TS), with the estate versions R12 and R12 TL also quoted with the 155R13 size.
